Great for the night.
PostedNovember 17, 2010
ProsDurable, Great Value, Performing as Expected, excellent for low light
I have difficulty seeing most clocks at night due to poor vision. This clock is perfect for someone who has this problem. I can see it perfectly in a dark or low lighted room. Love it! I have recommended it to others and have purchased two.

ProsGreat Value, Performing as Expected
If you are looking for a clock with a continuously-lighted dial, this is just about the only choice available anywhere. And fortunately, it is attractive, quiet, reasonably priced, and satisfactory in every way.

Gentle Wake Up
PostedNovember 17, 2010
ProsDurable, Performing as Expected
I got this as a gift last Christmas and love it. When a friend mentioned that he "hates the buzzer" on his alarm clock, I got him one. It is a great prescription for a gentle wake up process.

Blinking Light
PostedNovember 17, 2010
ProsPerforming as Expected
It's a large clock, the grey looks very nice. The bell sound is fairly loud but pleasant like an old-fashioned telephone.
The face glows soft amber, it doesn't bother me like a glowing blue digital clock, but you can turn it off easily with a switch on the back if it does bother you.
The "gentle light" that wakes you up is actually a bright, BLINKING light. Might make some people think of a christmas tree, at first I felt like I was waking up in a cheap hotel room...
If I'm tired or facing the other way, the light alone does not completely wake me up, but it keeps me from being jarred out of a deep sleep.
I wish I could set the light to come on, but NOT blink...would be great for dark mornings in northern lattitudes.
