Love this alarm clock; this is the second one we have. Now we have the old one in our guest room. When my husband has to get up at 5:00 am I hardly ever wake up! The light is plenty to wake him up on his side of the bed and let me sleep.
I use the alarm light feature; it wakes me up without all the noise. I thought it would be smaller, actually if a smaller version was offered I would purchase for the guest room.
The alarms on my first order worked great for about two months and then just stopped. LL Bean sent me a replacement--a no hassle transaction. The new clock is working great so far.

I was tired of the same old "black box" alarm clocks and harsh digital glow. I love, love, love this clock! It is so pretty with a softly lit face (like the moon at night). Looks like a piece of art. I really like that! The option of using soft light to wake you up instead of an alarm is very nice (it will use sound if you don't respond to the light)
