I had to wait a month or so for the backordered lime green model, but it was well worth the wait. The lighted dial is much easier to read in the night than my old digital clock, and I love being able to turn the backlight off during the day to save electricity. The alarm is plenty loud, and very effective. The blinking light feature is annoying, and I may stop using it - but it does wake me up! I love the deco styling of the clock, and the features make it one I will use for years to come!
Great retro look. The moonbeam light is a pleasant "alarm", the bell alarm is jarring and really loud. There should be a volume for the bell. Gives off a pleasant light at night - not too bright. I still use another alarm as a back up to the moonbeam light because the bell is too loud.
The product quality if very good and I'm pleased with the clock with the exception I didn't realize it was primarily electric -- guess I focused on "batteries not included" and presume it was not electric.
I had to order this clock three times before I got one that functioned properly. The alarm bell on the first two failed to work. Finally, the third try was successful. A big nuisance to have to pack up and go to UPS for return. Disappointed in poor quality.
