I really like my lemon yellow, flashing light/ringing bell clock I got recently! My daughter wants a green one. It has large buttons in the back to adjust everything a clock should have. The numbers are easy to read. The vintage style is fun.
I've been seeing this clock in LL Bean Catalogs for years and finally decided to treat myself. I love the design and the light-up face, but with regard to the alarm, I have to say: 1) It's hard to tell what time you're setting it for 2) The bell is too loud/harsh. Yes, it'll certainly wake a person up--and probably wake up everyone else in the house. 3) Because I don't like the bell, I've set the alarm for the flashing light function. So far that's worked, but I'm not sure if it's because my biological clock is set or if that flash will really wake a person who's sound asleep.
I love this clock. Love the large lite-up dial that I can see at night, even from across the room. The "wake-up light and alarm are perfect. The color ( I got blue) and style I remember from when I was a little kid...
