I've been wanting this clock for years and when I finally got it I was not disappointed. Not only is it retro-cool looking, but it is super easy to use. I can wake up with just a pulsating light or sound and light, or just sound.
All the settings are plainly marked and require a simple push of the finger to set the various settings. The simplicity of use is the best feature of this product.
The clock has a high-pitched electrical buzz which is audible even from across the room. Also, I was expecting a 'gentle light' and was surprised at the rapid blinking rather than a softly rising light. The bell is indeed too loud for an average sleeper. I've admired the clock in the past and was attracted to the new colors, but will be returning it.
I was so disappointed in this clock. I wanted to be awakened with gentle illumination. Instead I was awakened every time by the most annoying alarm ever because the light didn't wake me up at all. Before I purchased this, there were a lot of great reviews, so I figured it worked. But I am a heavy sleeper. So I wanted to let other shoppers know that the light may not work for you. I do have to say that the clock is cute. I wish it had a less annoying alarm.
