I love the way the Moonbeam clock looks, but it does not hold up. The alarm and wake up light both fail after several months. Because of the alarm failure, I was late for several appointments. So disappointed. And I gave this item a second chance. No more. And now, LL Bean charges for return shipping. After many years of online LL Bean shopping, I must sadly say good-by.
This is the second moonbeam clock I ordered and I love the first one. It was purchased a couple years back and appartently LLBean had changed supplier because this clock is not the same as first one. Beam is not as bright - which is the feature I loved because much nicer to wake up to flashing light than some form of noise. Also the clock makes a constant low humming noise which required it to be moved away from bed - so no turning over and turning off alarm. The back of clock is set up different than my original and this is why I believe my second order was not made by same people - second is more complicated with more options. Love the color and despite the difference from first I like. Just wish I could have gotten same clock as before!
Beautiful color, matches my quilt! Love the back light, and the unusual light display to wake up to. And the alarm bell doesn't jolt me awake like my old clock.
