I wanted a simple alarm clock and thought I had found it. However---Waste of money. Only the light flashes, the alarm does not work. A big disappointment considering LL Bean's usual quality.
This is my favorite clock ever! I've owned it for years - I thought the internal bulb had finally "gone". I unplugged it and plugged it back it. And it is good for another 10 yrs! Wonderful clock, wonderful company.
I'm going to buy a new one because my the alarm on my original one sometimes does not work! It's not a consistent problem. So I guess I have to spring for a new one. I love this clock because of the light rather than the alarm-who wants to be given a heart attack at that hour of the morning?
