I've been using an alarm clock for the past 35 years or so. This wakes me up the best of any that I've owned. Adjusatable bell volume on low is loud enough to wake you but not so loud that it jars you awake. I had trouble setting it. I couldn't get it to go off by passing the alarm setting with the clock hands. Before I gave up I just set the alarm for 10 minutes past the time and it went off no problem. I love this clock and I just hope the model is still around when and if I have to replace it.
Clock looks nice (as illustrated), but the controls are clumsy (small knobs on the back for shut-off/on) and it is a 12-hour design, so it needs to be handled at bedtime to reset the alarm. Pretty primitive for a corded clock. This one has gone back to LLB
This clock is outstanding! The color, the form, everything - it looks lovely on my nightstand. I like the warm light it emits so I can see what time it is if I awaken in the night yet it doesn't bother my sleep. Or the light can be turned off. I just love this clock.
