I fell in love with Dreamy the moment I saw her on line. She was a little pricey, but so-o beautiful. I ordered her, she arrived and we've been very happy . The face looks like the full moon.
The only thing is, to get back to reality here, is I can't turn off the alarm easily. Tiny button on back doesn't work for me. So I use a different clock bedside and keep Dreamy across the room for general time checks.
Next iteration--make a double hit on snooze bar an OFF!
Just received a replacement and this one is defective too. The one I originally purchased lasted for several years and then the alarm stopped working. Returned it to the Albany NY store. They didn't have one in stock so it was shipped directly to my home. This replacement clock is not working correctly. Only the bottom half of the clock face is illuminated. Haven't decided if I'll return for another replacement of just a refund. Very disappointing. Love the retro look and styling of the clock but the quality is just not there.
I purchased and returned 2 other clocks locally. The moon beam clock met all my requirements: it is absolutely quiet, the entire face lights up, it has numbers instead of just the markers. It sits on a shelf by my bed which is positioned so when I wake in the night I can see the time clearly even without my glasses. It appears to be well made and I love the soft color and shape of it, it's very pretty. The catalog should say that it is electric, I saw that on-line.
