This review is for tbe clock without the USB port. I love the design, although when it arrived it was much larger than I expected. I prefer the analog to the digital clocks, but that is where my love of this clock ends. 1. I had to turn the face of the clock to face away from the bed because the glow was ridiculously bright. Too bad they didn't add a way to dim the brightness.I like the color of the light, there is just too much if it. 2. It has a snooze bar that you can't miss, but you have to reach around the back of the clock to turn the alarm off. Why not an off button on the top also? 3. I understand that that there is a tolerance for error for the alarm time, and maybe it's just the clock I got, but the alarm time has been up to 30 minutes off. 4. What's the idea of the flashing light with the alarm? I hated it, I thought it was horridly shocking. I'm looking for a new alarm clock. This one will go in a spare bedroom where it can sit and look pretty and just tell time.
Delightful, pretty and retro alarm clock which has added to the quiet and restful ambience of our green bedroom-I love the shape of the new clock, and the way it arouses you in the morning-no cacophony of noise the way many clocks do. This is also a replacement for the travel clock I had bought and found I could not work it-plus it was not dependable. I worked this thru with LL Bean to great satisfaction-they are still one of the BEST companies from whom to shop and with whom to do business!
I bought this clock some time ago. The back lit clock face is easy to read. The blinking alarm light is a fun design feature. Ah, but I have yet to get the alarm to sound. Despite messing with the alarm options available from the multiple alarm set features on the back of the clock, the alarm never triggers. Nothing. No sound. Silence. A defect I never had the inclination to attempt to remedy. Apparently there is sound, just not on mine. So it goes.
The moon beam light in this clock is just bright enough to see the time, but not so bright as to disrupt sleep. The alarm is gentle yet persistent. It's perfect!
