Very Pretty on my nightstand, and I love that it has lights before that god-awful alarm sound. I never wait for the sound. The lights wake me up without all that drama.
I am pleased w/the appearance and readability of this clock. I would like it even more if it was battery operated. I understand that is does have backup batteries but if used w/them only, the dial does not light at night, a most important feature to me. Because of the needed electrical cord, I am unable to move it easily to the table next to my chair when I need an alarm to wake me from a nap.
I received this over 2 weeks ago. I bougght tihs to go in our bedroom as I lovved the retro look. As another reviewer stated this clock feels quite well made. The switches feel good and the overall appearance is beautiful. I bought the green color and it looks awesome next to our Bean flannels. The greatest thing about this clock is how great it works. The light is just right, not too bright to wake you and very easy to see in the dark. I have never had an alarm that uses light to assist in waking and was skeptical as to how it would work, well let me say that it blew me away the first day I used it. I love the light as it lets you know that the dreaded alarm is soon coming. Also the ability to customize how it wakes you is cool too. I just can't say enough good about this clock, in fact I am buying one for my mom as a gift. Another wonderful product from my favorite place to shop
