The Clock looks very nice and is pleasing to the eye... However, there is something inside the clock that sounds as if it came loose inside the clock, the QA dropped the ball???
I appreciate being able to wake to light without it taking up my entire bedstand as other alarm lights do. However, I do not like any light at night which means I keep the backlight off. Here's the rub - you can NOT see what time it is at all. On my other lovely alarm clock the dials glow and if you push the snooze it lights up the back so as to view the time. This clock would have been perfect if I could actually see the time before the alarm goes off.
Like everyone else, I love it. It's different and it makes its presence on my nightstand in a very fashionable way. I got mine in a pale green and it's muted just like the light on it at night, so you can see the time without getting jarred by brightness. The alarm button is in the back and and after a few times, I find it easy to turn on and off. Besides, its kind of like the delete button-- who wants it next to the snooze button since you just might turn it off by accident! When the alarm goes off, it has a tonal quality to it and it's just loud enough to wake you from a deep sleep without scaring you to death. There are times when I'm leaving the room in the morning and it's dark, I can turn back and see it across the room and get the time just as I'm heading out.
