I just love this 'old time' clock. It is so adorable and the gentle back light helps me see what time it is in the middle of the night without keeping me up! Looking at this clock brings me joy!
The primary reason I rated this clock 5 stars is that it has a pleasant alarm, compared to most other clocks. It has two levels of alarm sound settings and it doesn't wake you with a jolt. It keeps great time, looks nice on the night stand, and doesn't have an annoying loud ticking sound. The light is soft and does not interfere with sleep.....just enough so you can read the clock in the dark. A bit pricey for an alarm clock, but you generally get what you pay for.
