I don't really need an alarm clock, but I need to know what time it is in the middle of the night. I love this clock for that reason! I bought the clock in yellow and in addition to its good looks, it is super easy to see the time at night. The soft mellow glow lights up the time, but does not disturb sleep even when it is on the night table next to the bed. The face is easy to read. Setting the time and alarm is super easy and "old school" - just knobs to turn. This is a great clock and I like it much more than I expected I would.
The clock is pretty, but the first one I ordered had no alarm sound whatsoever -- just the light. So I returned it and got another. AGAIN NO ALARM! It's so cute and people who have working ones seem to enjoy theirs, so I just don't know if I should try again or just give up.
i bought my Moonbeam in 2006 in pink, and I just love it! I love waking to the gentleness of the light flickering on and off. It's so pleasant than an annoying electronic alarm. The clock bell comes on if you ignore the light feature too long. Sadly, the bell on my clock no longer works, but I still wake to the light feature every day.
I would recommend this adorable clock to everyone.
I received my clock in less time than expected. Clock is larger than I thought, but I love the size, color, and alarm sound. Very soft glow from clock in the dark.
