I bought this for my parents about 5 years ago. They still bring up how much they love this clock. The first couple of times I thought they were just being polite, but they really love it and miss it when they travel. They love the classic style and mention how it reminds them of their younger years. My mom really likes the way the light slowly gets brighter to wake you. I think I'll buy one for our guest room, so they will have one while they visit us too.
This clock provides the perfect amount of nighttime glow (I'm super sensitive to light when I sleep) and it's beautiful to look it. I loved it so much I bought one for my daughter's room (she also doesn't like light when she sleeps). Thank you for offering this amazing clock.
Just received this neat looking clock. Haven't used it yet as an alarm, but I love the way it looks and the size. It is chunky and very vintage looking. It is cheerful and has a softly glowing face at night if you choose. Exactly what I wanted. Just painted a bedroom pink and the green is a nice accent.
I am hearing impaired and wear hearing aids in both ears. I don't wear them to bed, however. I haven't been able to hear an alarm clock for years. My husband had to nudge me to let me know the alarm was going off. A few years ago I noticed that the blinking light on my husband's smart phone would wake me up in the middle of the night. Then I found the moon beam clock. I purchased it and since then the alarm light has never failed to wake me up. Because I am light sensitive I found that the light emitting from the face of most alarm clocks would keep me awake at night. Not the moon beam clock. It's gentle light doesn't wake me during the night, but the blinking alarm light does. I've been using it for years now. And call me old fashioned, but I like the analog vs the digital. Just purchased another for my vacation cabin.
