At first I was reluctant to buy this product because I thought it was a little too expensive. Because L.L. Bean has such a great return policy, I decided to buy one and try it. Over time, I have now purchased three of the clocks in three of the four colors. The colors are fun, the backlighting of the face is perfect, and the flashing light before the audible alarm almost always gently awakens me first. The clock is solid, quiet, and the perfect bedside clock. My own purchasing history speaks for the fact that I love this clock. It is probably a matter of time before I order one in the fourth color! I highly recommend this clock. It is the best bedside clock on the market, I think.
This is my second Moonbeam clock and I absolutely love it. I can read it at night and wear an eye mask so the light is not a problem. I am disabled, so am not working and rarely need the alarm. But, when I do , it is so nice that it doesn't wake my husband as well. It is also so pretty to look at. I do not care at all for the digital clocks so am very happy with this one.
i love this clock but i had to return the first one because the alarm bell did not work. i received the replacement, and i find the alarm bell works only randomly. it is not dependable if you need to wake up at a certain time, which was the main reason i bought it. i did not want to bother dealing with the return a second time.
This goes perfectly with the country look in our guest bedroom. I first purchased an antique head board, then a beautiful quilt and bed skirt from LL Bean, and the Moon Clock finished the "look". Love it!
