This clock looks very nice and keeps good time but after three years the alarm stopped working. If you need it for an alarm, forget it! I almost missed an international flight because it stopped working the day I was leaving!
Great retro style with a hint of streamlined modern/art deco in the overall shape. A fun and functional addition to our home decor. The alarm can be set to use either a flashing light or a sound or both. The flashing light may not be effective for everyone; try it on a morning when you don't have to be somewhere at a certain time. One slight detraction is that the alarm can not be set with the same accuracy that is possible with a digital clock; so assume that the alarm will operate within about 5 minutes (+/-) of where the alarm is set on the clock face.

I thought the price might be a bit high, but after receiving, it is well worth the money for the quality of this product. I ordered two for gifts but ended up keeping one for myself.
So far, so good. Alarm works in all modes. Snooze works. Time is correct. Fits perfectly on my night stand. Love the color--as advertised. Probably going to buy one for a friend for Christmas present. It is very quiet. I can't hear the movement of the second hand like you can with a battery operated clock.Speaking of batteries-- I like that idea of a back up battery too.
I've wanted it for years, but clunker on my nightstand would not break. It finally did!
