I bought this clock for a lake cottage where we spend weekends and holidays. I love the vintage look and like that it is electric. When we have battery-driven objects and we are there infrequently, it seems that we are forever replacing batteries. We just plug this in when we are at the cottage.
This is my second Moon Beam clock. My first one was yellow with less features, but I dropped it and lost the alarm which I really didn't need because the blinking light woke me up. It was time to buy a new one and retire the yellow one to the guest bedroom.
I love the tourquoise color in my bedroom with more customizable features. The low light to view the time (not a fan of digital) at night is perfect with a large face, plus where I live there are many power outages and the battery backup keeps perfect time all the time.
This is my second Moonbeam,cats knocked over and broke the first one,first one was pink. I love the green color,flashing light is just bright enough without being over annoying,alarm is loud. Only wish the backlite was brighter but overall my favorite clock,thats why I bought a 2nd one and will allways buy this style of clock.
