I bought my first Moon Beam Alarm Clock more than 10 years ago. It is beautiful and is still working quietly. I recently decided to buy another one for my guestroom. The new clock is still beautiful, but it doesn't function quietly like the first one - it ticks and keeps my guests awake at night. It is not a good thing.
We wanted an alarm clock with a reto look and this is it. Unfortunately we can't seem to get the alarm clock to work right. It seems that you can only set it to go off on he hour not the 1/2, 1/4 or 3/4 hour. We went back to our digital alarm clock but kept the moon beam because it looks great in the bedroom. Love the backlight which illuminates the face without lighting up the room. We chose the green which is very pretty. Maybe the problem is with me but I tried it many times and finally gave up.
I really like the soft back lighting; readable in the dark but not a harsh glow. A favorite feature is the battery back-up as we have frequent power breaks. My grandkids utilize the face to help learning to tell time. Oh yes, the colors are nice too.
Really love this clock. Dial is not too bright and it is quiet. Face is large enough to see the time but small enough to be unobtrusive. The creamy yellow color is very pretty.
