The clock has all the features I bought it for: a large dial which lights up, a setting to wake you up with lights as well as sound and it has a sort of old-fashioned look which reminds me of clocks we used to have. However, it does tick and I didn't really expect this as my other electric clocks are silent. I was afraid I might not be able to live with this but decided to try to get used to it which I more or less have. However this might be a problem for some people and I do think that the manufacturer should think of a way to make it run silently. Apart from that, I like it.
I love the Moon Beam clocks. I ordered this one to replace my old one that still works with the exception of the alarm. I really like the green color, how the old type clocks work over the digital clock and alarms. They are so much easier and quicker to set the alarm and the time, and also are a much more gentle way to wake up you up.. This new one has a few more options on it than my old one does, but that is OK. The light isn't too bright for me nor is the alarm too loud. Of course the flashing light is usually what wakes me up.
