I like the design, size, shape and the pretty yellow color. I also very much like the analog face and the back lighting. My only complaint is that I wish I could set the alarm for only the blinking light without the bell. (I can set the bell, without the light.) That is the only reason I rated the clock with three stars instead of four.
I visited a Bean retail store, and, saw the clock. The soft glow face seemed like a plus so I carefully checked to see how it glowed in darkness. Glowed nicely. I bought it, took it home , and, plugged it in. The clock glowed, but, the clocked hands never moved from the start and for two days after. Back it went.
I love it and don't use the alarm feature. The retro look is exactly what I was looking for. I've owned it for several years and now the plastic color is fading, but it still functions well.
No indicator that alarm is on or off. Also alarm does not distinguish between AM or PM. Example: set the alarm at 4 o’clock and it will ring at 4AM and 4PM.
