Wow. I had wanted to purchase this clock for some time. The picture in the catalog does it no justice. This is a HUGE clock! You simply cannot miss the time or details on the face. Well made, but while the snooze is on the top of the clock, the shut off is on the back of it, making it a bit cumbersome to shut off sometimes. The yellow color was nice. I like the light wake up feature, the alarm sound however is a bit loud but you can adjust that. Only real issue I had was the price. Not sure it's worth $49 as it is plastic shell; maybe the internal contents are pricy. But...it's made in the USA! Love that part.
I bought one for myself awhile ago and now bought one for my elderly Mother because the clock face glows in the dark and the numbers are nice and big. She can see the time easily.
It's also a cool retro style. Love it!

My husband needed a new alarm clock and we wanted one with personality. This clock has that in spades. The problem we are having with it is the alarm. It only seems to work on the hour we can't seem to get it set to the half or quarter hour. The closest I can get is 25 minutes past the hour. I'm sure this is not a problem for most people, but when you work shifts it can be. We're not ready to give up yet because the clock is perfect for the room and I searched long and hard. Wish me luck :)
Beautiful clock and just love the 1950's classic greeen jadite color and look. Offers many options for setting the alarm from a soft to a louder sound and even a flashing light to gently warn you before the alarms goes off. I am actually using this clock on my first floor and it can come in handy when I have the chance to take a nap on my day off! And I just love the actual ad copy from 1952 that is on the back of the box, the year I was born.
