Love the Moonbeam alarm clock. This is my third one. Only problem is you must be careful not to set or wind clock in the wrong direction. Believe this is what may have happened to my first clock as it will no longer keep correct time. This item cannot be repaired because the repairs would cost more than the clock itself.
Otherwise, service was great and received my clock in no time at all.
I was surprised at how "vintage" this clock looked when I unpacked it. It has a decent heft to it and so far has worked perfectly. I like the subtle backlight (which I assume is an LED and will theoretically never burn out) and it does emit a soft ticking sound. Overall I am happy with this clock and it looks great.
I finally bought this clock after many years of trying to justify the cost. I was disappointed that the light wakes you up by flashing, instead of just getting brighter, but decided to keep it anyway. About a week and a half after receiving the clock, we noticed a rubbery burning smell, but couldnt figure out what it was. Then I noticed the time had stopped on the clock. I unplugged it and tried it in several other outlets, but it still didnt work. I am returning it but not requesting a replacement.
I purchased this clock a few years ago. It has been very dependable. We have lost power a few times and this clock keeps right on working. Very easy to set the time and alarm and the color yellow goes perfectly with our bedroom decor. I truly love this clock.
