This is the second Moonbeam clock I've owned (the first one lasted for years) and I absolutely love this clock! You will never want to wake up to a regular alarm clock again. The soft light gently wakes you up and if you need an extra boost, the alarm (high or low setting) will certainly do the trick. It is totally retro/art deco looking and this time I got the blue model (love it!) I don't know what there is not to like about this product.
I love the design and appearance of this clock. I had wanted it for years. But this Moonbeam LED which gently wakes you is an Emergency Strobe that suddenly goes off scaring the living daylights out of you. I gave it several tries thinking I would get used to it, but only a Fireman would appreciate this rude awakening. Sadly, it has to go back. If you only want the alarm, buy it, it's an adorable clock.
I got this for my husband as a Christmas gift. He just loves it! He had a tiny, ugly and very annoying digital alarm clock. This looks so much better on the night stand and is really a little work of art. The face lights up at night making it easy to tell the time. The alarm is a "softer, gentler" kind of ring too.
Ideal design for teaching analog time to young early risers, allowing reasonable sleep for the rest of the household. Gentle nightlight glow. Well crafted.
