My wife wanted a "softly lit" clock that was readable w/o glasses. This clock is perfect. Design is a nice "retro" style & color, as pictured, was very accurate.
I bought this clock before and really liked it, so bought a matching one for my husband, but it did not work when it came. I'm ordering another one, just because I would like matching clocks, but we shall see. Not typical of Bean to sell something of such poor quality. Are you reselling returned merchandise without checking to see if it is working?
Easy to see without my eyeglasses at night! I don't rely on the light alarm solely to wake me, but the other features more than make up for that: The on/off night illumination, battery back-up, hi/low audible alarm are hard to find in a single device. And it looks great.
Just be careful to set the alarm time well ahead of the current time or it won't work correctly.
