Just ordered another sweatshirt in Grey. Ordered a Mountain Red at the first of winter and loved it. It holds it's shape and feels so warm and comfortable. It is the only "logo" shirt that I would wear. It has a special look and feel that makes it in a class of it's own. Excellent quality--of course it is LL Bean.
This is an average sweatshirt. I expected it to feel more comfortable, made of a softer cotton and less synthetic feeling. I have a couple of older sweatshirts from other manufactures that have become my favorites. They have "seasoned" nicely. I am not sure that this sweatshirt will achieve that status.
I ordered this since the one my husband has had for 15 years is starting to look worn. After 15 years of being the preferred casual item in his closet, it's wearing thin in a few places. The new sweatshirt meets all expectations. Soft, just the right amount of being 'broken in'. The waist band isn't tight, so it doesn't create a balloon effect. I think I can frame the old one now.
