Great hat! I am not a hat person, but needed something warm and windproof for daily walks with my dogs. They are off-leash, out in the open in rural areas where the wind is bitterly cold and whipping. Purchased this hat in black and it is perfect!! Fits snug over my ears with the adjustable chin strap and doesn't slide down over my eyes like other hats I've tried, yet covers enough of my face to keep me warm and protected. I recently wore it while in NYC for a day and found it quite stylish with my long length LL Bean wool coat. I stayed snug as a bug while touring on foot!
Everyone who has one of these things loves it--unbelievably warm, if a bit kooky in appearance. I went back to the LLBean store to get another, and they had sold out in days.
Very nice gift for the "little" person that I gave for Christmas. It was hard to wrangle it away from this 9 year old, but it was a little snug, so I've it's being exchanged for one size larger. I haven't received it back, yet, but am looking forward to giving it to him, again. And, he is too! Happy New Year
