ProsDurable, Great Value, Comfortable, mad bomber hat
My friend and I made a two week trip to Utah this December traveling from warm LA where we live. We bought two Mad Bomber Hats before going. The hats were wonderful! They are very well made with a generous amount of really soft, warm rabbit fur covering everything inside, but the top of the hat which is quilted. They say we lose 40% of our body heat through our heads - and now I believe it. The Mad Bomber hats really helped to keep our whole bodies warmer, and more comfortable. I highly recommend them.
This hat is a truly fine quality item. I have always wanted one and this one by LL Bean is top of the line. We've had some very cold weather here in the midwest and this hat keeps the wind and cold out completely. They aren't stingy with the rabbit fur and the whole hat is top notch. It takes some getting used to fastening the leather chin strap, but once it's on you are ready for anything. I'd recommend this to anyone who spends a long time outside in the winter, either shoveling snow, attending football games, etc.
My fiance got this hat to take the dog for walks in the cold and shovel the driveway. He loves it! He wanted to wear it everywhere we went. I wore it once or twice to take the dog out as well and I ended up ordering another one for myself in white. Can't wait for it to get here! It a great hat! Perfect for those frigid days and nights outside. Keeps you very warm up top.
