This hat keeps me so warm, even my feet stay warm (since 40% of your body heat excapes through your head). the only problem with it is that sometimes the fur tickles my face. But that is a small price to pay for being truly WARM!
I received this hat just before our last blizzard. It was perfect for when I had to go dig us out. It keeps your head warm without being cumbersome or hot. The wind definitely does not get through it. It is nice that the chin strap is adjustable. One of the best hats I've ever had.
