Love this hat! I'd ordered one two years ago, and he thought he'd lost it, so ordered another. He's a ski instructor, subjected to all the vagaries of weather, and this is his go-to piece on cold days and nights; he says it's the warmest he's ever had. Only one tiny drawback--the older one had a nylon chinstrap with a plastic clip/buckle; once you'd set the length it was easy to open or close, this hat has leather straps and a traditional buckle, and must be re-buckled with each use.

I waited too long! I couldn't get the women's version of this hat so I bought the Men's in white. Not sure it is a fashion statement, but I will tell you this, there is no warmer hat for this winter weather we are having in the northeast! The hat is warm and keeps me dry. I use it for my daily walks and thanks to LL Bean, I no longer have excuses for skipping the walk, despite the weather. LL Bean has always given me solutions to living in a snowy climate and they didn't fail with this hat!
