I've been wearing the leather lined version of the double sole slippers for about twenty years now. In that time I've gone through about six pair, but I wear them constantly when I'm home and I am very hard on any shoe. Like true moccasins they tailor themselves to your feet in no time at all and fit like a glove. They are better than any other slipper I've had.
Although I'm on my second pair of these you might want to pass on the Shearling-Lined version. This is the second year I've worn this pair and they wear great but in both pairs the lining started to wear out at about the one year mark. I probably have another year on the soles then I may look elsewhere for replacement.
These are very handsome and well crafted slippers but they don't let your feet breathe! I can only wear them for about five minutes before my feet start to get sweaty then cold. They need to rethink this one!
After trying a pair of very casual, crepe soled shoes as slippers for a year, I decided to go back to these double sole, leather slippers. Felt like a glove the minute I put them on. I do not like cloth or shearling lined. Mine are leather lined. Decided to try the full grain leather this time rather than the bison since other web articles claim durability is the same. These are more refined looking than bison. The materials feel to be excellent and the cushioning in the footbed is really comfortable. Appears to be well made. Feel great on carpet or hardwood. I normally wear size 10 or 10.5 shoes. Bought a size 10 here which puts my toes pretty close to the end but any bigger would probably be too sloppy a fit.
