I bought a pair for myself and my husband. I love the quality of workmanship put into the slippers. These should be good for quite a few years. My only problem is that my husband wears a half size, and it is suggested that you should order up to the next higher whole size. This didn't work out too well. He wears a 9 1/2, so I ordered the 10. They ended up being about 1 1/2 inches too long for his feet. I sent the size 10 pair back and now await for a new pair of size 9 slippers.
I am impressed. These are wonderful house mocs made of thick leather with a rich tobacco-chocolate hue to them. They are well put together with excellent, detailed stitching and an insert between the inner and outer soles that gives them the perfect amount of support. The width is just about right for my slightly wide feet. My only caution to others would be that they may run a half size too big but I bought two pairs and that was the case in only one of them...
These are very comfortable, look smart, and glide wonderfully on our parquet floors. I recommend them without qualification. Quality items like these are the reason I remain loyal to dear old Bean above any other company.
I've seen these slippers in the catologs for years, and loved the way they looked, but never wanted to spend this much for slippers! Well what a waste of time! I finally broke down and bought a a pair and WOW there great! I work out of the house and I wear them every day! Around the house, out to the mailbox all day! There extremely comfortable, durable and good looking. I like them so much, I'm buying a pair for my son for christmas!

These slippers are excellent. The fit is spot-on, the workmanship and materials are superb, and they're neither too warm nor too cold. I was worried about the leather outer soles being slippery on my carpeting, but not so. I've been wearing them for about a month, and they're getting even better as they get broken in.
