I ordered these for my husband (while home for a family reunion in the US), as we live in the mountains of Spain, with no central heating and tile floors. So we need warm slippers!
Unfortunately, you can really feel the cold coming through the soles of the slippers. So goodness knows what his poor feet will be like in Dec - blocks of ice!
First off, great looking slipper. High quality and well made. That said, the sizing is way off. I wear a 10 Medium in almost every shoe. This 10 fit like a 12. Returned for a 9 in hopes that it will fit better.
I have had mine for over 45 years! I still wear them often, but not all the time. Right from the beginning they felt a little tight. I wear a size 12 E and ordered the 12 Ds thinking as mocks they would stretch. But they haven’t. The comment about the inner sole coming loose is correct. If you wear them barefoot the inner sole will come loose. I simply inserted a shoe liner in mine and that worked. I also used a shoe tree to stretch them a little and that seemed to work as well. Basically, since they lasted 45 years and look almost new, I would say they are worth the money. The underside is a little scuffed from being lazy and wearing them outside to get the mail occasionally.
