I've had return this item 3 times. The insole separates from the bottom of the slipper. I finally went to a shoe repair outfit to have it re-glued and it appears like it will hold together. This is a major flaw in the quality of the slipper and don't understand why LLBean would continue to pay for the returns and replacement over demanding better quality from the supplier. The slipper is comfortable and practical so I continued to reorder in the hopes I would get a pair with better quality. Did not happen. This is a serous notch in my loyalty to the LLBean. I have to believe this is also a financial loss to LLBean that no one is paying attention to.
For several years I purchased the flannel lined slippers with the rubber sole, and found them to be great indoors and out. This year when it was time to replace the old slippers I gave the leather lined double soled slipper a try. I just got them today and they feel like I have been wearing them forever. I have never had a slipper, shoe, sneaker or any footwear that was so comfortable right out of the box. I will keep you posted as the year goes by.
I used to wear these to work every day. They look a lot like shoes and should someone notice they're merely shoe-ish and not office-appropriate, one might just feign opprobrium at the blatant slight cast upon one's native forebears (however fanciful such ancestry might be). Being comfortable through the day is worth a bit of exaggeration.
The sole will abrade on hard surfaces; the more uneven the surface the more rapid the abrasion.
Those with wide feet - don't be fooled by the D width. Buy a half size up and in a few hours these mocs will have stretched to conform.
