I've been enjoying this nightie for a few weeks now. I love the pink shade, long sleeves and ability to button it up to my neck on chilly nights. I'm about 5'6" and the regular's length is a little above my ankles. The size S is very roomy (I'm about 125 lbs.), but I like the ample fabric and its looseness for sleeping comfort. The flannel is a lighter weight than I'd imagined (thus 4 stars instead of 5), but it's kept me warm most nights this December, with my bedroom temp set at 56 degrees. It's become a favorite!
I thought this nightdress looked lovely and warm: but I bought it for my sister so can't say I've worn it. However the color wasn't quite what I expected as the 'rich red' was rather brick-like and I fear my sister won't like it. But I've told her to turn the lights down and concentrate on the warmth rather than the color!
Our daughter bought my wife one of these gowns several years ago for Christmas. My wife wore the gown so often that it finally got a hole in one of the sleeves. She remarked to me as she sadly put it in the rag bag that she really wished she had another one just like it because it was the warmest, softest gown she had ever had and she was really going to miss it. I came on your site, went to women's gowns and found that you still carried the exact same gown in the same color and pattern.
I am now a hero in my wife's eyes and once again she is wearing her L.L. Bean gown to bed each night sans the hole in the sleeve. Thank you for making me look good!
