I was dismayed to discover these flannel nightgowns were made with a stiff fabric that was as far from "flannel" as I could imagine. It was scratchy to wear and there was none of the softness that I had expected. LLBean flannel sheets are soft and very cozy...not so this nightie.
I have 2 and just ordered and received another 2. They are just the right weight, are extremely comfortable and have the neckline I prefer.
They wash well and are just as soft from the 1st wash and throughout the multiple washes that follow. Great quality. I just wish they came in more colors.
I really wanted to love this nightgown, as I have been wanting one for years. I finally ordered it, only to be very disappointed in the construction. The button plackets were terribly misaligned. One side was actually 1" higher than the other, and when buttoning the top button, there was a large, noticeable pucker. You could even see it through the packaging. The fabric was "ok"; perhaps it would have softened up after washing.
