The reverse side of the bodice pin tucking was rough. The flannel was not soft -- nothing like the weight and softness of Bean's tartan flannel nightgown. If you want real comfort and softness that washes and dries well, get the tartan plaid nightgown.
This is my all time fave nightgown. I have purchased several over the years. I like it because it fits around the neck nicely and does not have a fold over collar and NO elastic on the sleeves. The sleeves are the perfect length. Most flannel nightgowns seem to have too short of sleeves.
I normally wear a 2X, but the XL fits wonderfully. This is an oversized and roomy nightgown.
