I bought two of these last year & was so pleased by the quality & comfort, but was dismayed by the shrinkage. There is absolutely no reason for this in your products! I bought more this year in XL, because I want my arms to stay covered all night. Did you ever hear the term "Sanforized"? It used to be an industry standard, meaning preshrunk. Who washes a nightie in cold water & lets it drip-dry? My smaller mother is delighted by the ones that shrank.
I am very happy with the nightgown. The sleeves are long enough and it goes down to my ankles, not mid-calf like other garments. Very attractive and warm. Had another years ago and it lasted forever; still being used as dust clothes 20 years later!
How best to redeem my $10 gift coupon, I wondered? Perfect: a flannel nightgown - on sale!! This vintage flannel gown is a soft blue color, not too heavy, [happily] a perfect fit and especially exciting for this long-limbed customer, the sleeves and length are longer than I had expected! I am so pleased with this product. Thank you!
Some years ago I bought the flannel nightgown (off-white with blue) which wears very well. So I thought I'd buy the light blue one this time. I think the quality of the cloth of the light blue one is not nearly as good as that of the old one. After only three washings and dryings the cloth feels and looks worn already. It also produces an inordinate amount of lint. Sorry to have to tell you this but I think you ought to know.
