This nightgown is a lightweight flannel which is so soft and comfortable. I am 5'6" and usually wear a size 14 and this gown fits perfectly, falling just to my ankles. The fullness and length just cannot be found in department stores.
This is a medium weight flannel nightgown that has nice styling yet has room to move around in. The dobby indigo in large fits me with room to spare (150 lb, 5 ft. 4). I wear it when I don't want to be overly warm or for travel as it packs flatter than heavy flannel or fleece. I have worn this in my winter night gown rotation for a few years and it holds up to washing very well.
This is my third dobby nightgown. The pintucks add an elegant look and also add warmth. While my second gown (2012) was a little shorter than the first, this third one is long, just the way I like it. I'm a slim 5'5" and the medium size is a perfect fit. I've just ordered another one in the same delicious red.
