LL Bean just sent a $10 off coupon and guess what I'm going to buy? Another nightgown! These long sleeve, tuck front soft fabric nightgowns are the best I have found unless I take the time to make it myself.
This is the gown I've been trying to find for such a long time. This gown is very feminine & so comfortable at the same time. The fit & length are perfect for me and the material is very soft but not as warm as regular flannel which is what I love. I ordered the red one for my Christmas gift from my husband to see if it would live up to my expectations. Well, it certainly did so I just ordered the other two colors today. I hope you will continue to offer these beautiful well made gowns - mine has been washed many times & when dried on delicate & put on a hanger it looks just like it did the day I received it. One of the very best Christmas gifts I've ever received!
I had one of these nightgowns for 15 years and loved it. Bought a new one and was very disappointed. The fabric was so thin and cheap feeling. I was looking for the old thick warm and fuzzy flannel, this certainly was not it. I sent it promptly back. It is definitely not worth the price.
I have been buying LLBean flannel nightgowns for many years and many are still in use and are my favorites, however the fabric of these new gowns is very disappointing. The original gowns were soft and draped well. This gown feels more like homespun than flannel. It is not soft at all and I find it hard to think of it as warm soft flannel but more as rough cotton. The construction is fine as is the styling which is wonderful . I would give this 5 stars if the fabric was a better quality.
