This nightgown came during a rare lengthy snowstorm in the Pacific NWet. I was glad to have it! It is a pretty color, nice and roomy and feels nice close to your skin. I would recommend it to all of my friends.
Nothing makes me feel more secure than a cozy flannel nightgown! This offwhite/red-figured vintage gown is perfect! I had gained some weight so I purchased a medium-sized gown which is generously roomy. Gowns that feel this snuggly, soft and roomy are almost impossible to find. LLBEAN is to be congratulated on retaining their quality merchandise. About this time of year, last year, I purchased the navy/green, blackwatch plaid flannel gown. It too was and is still perfect. The reason I am such a good judge of this product is that I'm 73-years-old and I -do know- what I am talking about in this regard. Also, price is right up there with quality. At my age--I don't care who you are--costs must be considered. These gowns are worth every penny because they are going to last over the long haul!
I have purchased similar nightgowns from LL Bean in the past and I love their warmth and fit--loose, so you don't feel like you're in a mummy bag. This one is warm, soft and comfortable as I expected. I have to agree with other reviewers, though, that although the dobby material is very nice, it doesn't fit my definition of flannel. It is a "harder" finish than most flannels, without the fuzziness I had expected. I would buy it again, especially when I can get it discounted with coupons or sales.
