I started loving nightgowns during my pregnancy. I'm not pregnant anymore, but I still find them comfortable to sleep in and didn't have any gowns for winter. This is a high quality, comfy gown. Some people have said it's not flannel -- yes, it is flannel. Before you wash it, it doesn't feel too much like flannel. But after you wash it, it softens up and is very cozy. I liked that it's a basic print - I'm not a big fan of the ruffles/lace, etc. that are found on many nightgowns. I'd highly recommend this!
This is my first L.L. Bean nightgown purchase. This was a perfect Christmas present for myself - great length for sleeping and for tucking under while sitting on the couch; plenty of room to roll over without getting tangled. Sleeves unbutton at the cuff, also important for not getting tangled. I am 5 ft, size 16, and ordered a large - there is plenty of room for comfort, and the fit in the shoulders/chest is fine. Washed and dried it; no change in size/feel/comfort. I would definitely order another one.
Quality fabric, very soft, beautifully finished from bodice tucks to cuffs. Perfect medium weight warmth. generously cut. 100% delighted with this nightgown.
