I just purchased this nightgown as an exact replacement for my wife's existing one. She has been wearing the original one for eight years and loves the comfort & warmth. It is starting to fray around the neck and sleeve ends so I'm sure she will welcome a new one.
The only thing that would improve this nightgown would be to make it in "Black & Gold".
I ordered a size larger just so I could wrap myself inside it. Even if I hadn't, there is ample fabric. The flannel is not your heavy plush sort, but moderately soft and warm. Design is great without any areas that irritate tender skin. I am 5'8" and the length gives me adequate snuggle room. I bought it without reqards to cost and would again.
