I have loved this nightgown since it appeared in your catalog the last few years but never had a chance to order it. I finally was able to do so recently but was extremely disappointed in the quality of the gown. I was expecting a flannel nightgown since it was described as flannel which is usually soft. I couldn't believe how rough it was. It didn't feel like flannel but like broadcloth and was very thin. It would never have kept me warm. Also the print was fine, but the background was not white but a drab off-white, more like ecru. I finally ordered one from your competitor. I did like the style. Also it was huge. If you still want to order it, I suggest buying a smaller size.
I couldn't wait to get this nightgown, because it looked so lovely and cozy, but wow--it's cozy and HUGE. The fabric and design are gorgeous. But I feel self-conscious wearing it around anyone else, because it looks like I am wearing a flannel tent. I would not recommend this to anyone under 70--even though it has an incredibly beautful vintage look on paper.
