I was very pleasantly surprised at the fit and quality of this nightgown. The flannel is a very nice fabric and still looks nice after being laundered. The gown is very comfy but sturdy. I believe it will last a long time and it is already a favorite!
This is a really pretty flannel nightgown with unexpected extra details in the tucking both front and back. Flannel is not sexy, but this is as feminine as a flannel nightgown can be! I was over the moon delighted when my two nightgowns arrived (red and blue); I am 5'10" and they actually came down to below my ankles. What a treat for a Southern gal who shivers when the temp drops below 60. Ah, but then I washed them... and they both shrank 5-6 inches. If you want a full-length gown and are taller than 5'4", this is not your nightgown. What a shame! They are beautifully made.
I've ordered this nightgown every year, for the past three years. This is the fourth year and I ordered the new color, blue. It's the same style and I really like the color. The fabric is not the same thick flannel as before. It's still nice and I'm keeping it. Just not the LL Bean quality I've come to expect.
