ProsGreat Value, Comfortable, well worth the money
I, too, thought when I unwrapped it that it couldn't be flannel. Then I felt closely and realized that I was probably wrong, that this was just such a finely napped flannel that I didn't recognize it. I washed it to get the manufacturing/plastic bag smell out, and yup: it's flannel.
Next I thought, geez, this flannel is probably too lightweight to be as warm as I want. Wrong again.
This nightgown is super warm and comfortable. I bought it with the LL Bean winter weight zip-front fleece robe, both items red, and the colors match perfectly.
I've set my thermostat to run 3 degrees cooler.
My only problem now is that I don't want to get out of my nightgown and robe to leave the house. Unbelievably comfortable.
Great fit. The lenghth is wonderful even the sleaves are nice and long. The flannel fabric is on the thin side. Wish it was as heavy as other flannel gowns I have purchased from LLBean.
Advertised as brushed cotton flannel. Yet the Label reads 100% cotton. Also doesn't feel soft. Poor workmanship on hem, with threads hanging loose. AND WOULD REQUIRE IRONING. Who wants to iron a nightgown?
