I've never felt moved to write a product review before. I've had this nightgown for 8 years and it still looks and feels good. It has maintained its size and shape. I've never done anything special to care for it. I don't need another one. I just want an additional color.

My husband bought this nightgown for me for Christmas last year. It was on my wish list. I love it. It's a lightweight flannel but very cozy: just right under my down comforter. And I love the vintage look and roominess. I hope to get the blue one this year. It was on sale before Christmas but I can't remember the price.
I owned and loved two of these gowns, one of each color, and I was so excited to see this pretty new blue color! I ordered the same size. However, this gown that arrived is way too big. It claimed it was the same size, but it is not. To avoid the hassle of returning, I washed and dried it in hopes of shrinking it....but it is still too big. The sleeves hang down below my hands! The quality of the material is not quite as thick and nice as the other gowns I bought, either. SO PLEASE, if you choose this Crystal Blue color, order a size smaller than you usually do. I wish now that I had exchanged it!

This Vintage flannel nightgown has been a sleepwear staple for me for over 5 years. The gown is comfortable for all seasons and made of sturdy, 100% cotton construction. I keep at least three of them at a time. Some I have worn for three years! The new blue color is beautiful!
I wear a medium usually, but, because I like very roomy sleepwear, I purchase the large size; however, my sister, who is larger than I, is comfortable in the medium.
I love the button cuffs; many other gowns have elastic around the wrists, which does not last. I throw my gowns in the washer on cold and hang them to dry, but that is just my preference. I have not found the colors to fade in hotter washes or the fabric to shrink more than an inch in length if dried in a hot dryer. I love the fact that this gown hangs above floor length, which reduces chances of tripping on the hem, yet is long enough for warmth in winter. I live in the Northwest and find the fabric weight perfect for our climate.
Do not wait till Christmas to try these, for they will be gone! Great product I have not found anywhere else. Thank you, LLBean! Please don't discontinue these!
