I love this nightgown so much, that I'm sorry when it gets too warm to wear it! I have several, and they wash and wear well. I personally order up one size because I have long arms, and I like my nightwear to be roomy. I've washed them in hot water and have not noticed any significant shrinkage. I would highly recommend this gown to anyone who likes traditionally styled nightgowns.

This is one of the most attractive nightgowns I've seen, honestly. It does have almost a "Victorian" look to it, in a good way! Very delicate and feminine looking. Falls to the ankle approximately, and has long sleeves. These nightgowns are just SO hard to find, that is, long sleeved, long length nightgowns. I've entered "long nightgown" in some search boxes and gotten back pictures of knee length or shorter nightgowns, many of them not anything I'd be comfortable wearing---more of a statement about romance and so on...not that there's anything wrong with that! But for a comfortable nightgown for someone who wants the traditional styling, and also a very pretty nightgown, this is truly "the one". Highly recommended!
I love this nightgown! I've not owned a LL Bean gown before and I must say that I am impressed with the quality and workmanship. The tucks are wonderful. Being a seamstress I know the skill it takes to get them uniform and straight. I also like that the cuffs are buttoned. If elastic cuffs are too tight or too loose it's a real pain to adjust but with a button you just move it over a little one way or the other. I also love the full length to curl my feet up under. Will buy again!!
