I love the old-fashioned look of this nightgown as well as its roomy fit. It is the only one I own that actually reaches my ankles, and the button sleeves are great (I hate elastic).
The matching of the print on the little pleats is perfect - a sign of its quality.
The only thing that keeps it from getting 5 stars is that the material really isn't a true flannel. It doesn't have the sueded, brushed feel that you usually get with traditional flannel. It is nice and warm, though, and I would definitely recommend it.
I have finally been able to get this nightgown after missing out on it for three years! The flannel is soft and luxurious....not to mention cozy and warm. There is so much detail in this nightgown: not only are the tucks in the front, they are also on the back of the gown. The shirt tail detail on the bottom hemline is also a nice touch. It is roomy and perfect for a cold winter night.
I love this flannel nightie. In fact, I bought a second one for myself as well as one for my mother. It has great style comfort and durability. There is no elastic to fail. It has buttons in the front which you can button when it's really cold or unbutton if it is not so chilly.
