I bought one for myself last year and love it. This year I bought one for my mother, she is always cold, and she loves it. There is lots of extra room to curl your feet and legs under yourself while sitting watching tv. Washes well, does not shrink or fade. Looks as good as new after many washings. Very soft and comfortable.
I haven't had a flannel nightgown since I was about 12 years of age. But since it's cold and wet in the Northwest I decided to try one. It goes on at about 8PM and off at about 7AM. I wish I could wear it to work. It is comfortable and cozy. Now I know why grandma wore hers too.
This is the 2nd time I've purchased this nightgown from LL Bean - the 1st one wore out after 5 yrs of regular use and many hundreds of washings. I was so pleased to see it still available, but that's one of the best things about LL Bean - they make things right and don't mess with them thereafter, a formula for customer loyalty. I'd recommend this nightgown to those of us who love comfy, familiar sleepwear that just makes you want to curl up and go to bed!
